Service Description

A 130-hour anatomy-led education in the art of teaching Mat Pilates + 28-hour Reformer Pilates training. This training pathway is built on anatomy, biomechanics and the principles of Pilates, designed to develop teachers who understand why the body moves, not just how to cue a repertoire. Delivered at our Leeds Dock studios, the training combines in-person teaching weekends with structured independent learning. It runs in two stages: first, you build a strong foundation in Mat Pilates before progressing to the Reformer. Stage 1: Mat Pilates Teacher Training — 130 hours • 3 in-person practical weekends • 20 hours pre-course self-practice • 10 hours observation of a qualified teacher • 20 hours teaching practice • 20 hours self-mastery • Marked & assessed lesson plan • Written anatomy assessment • Practical teaching assessment Once you have successfully completed all Mat training and assessments, you’ll receive the Evrimotion Mat Pilates Teacher Certification and become eligible to progress to Stage 2. Stage 2: Reformer Pilates Teacher Training — 28 hours Building on your Mat foundation, this practical training takes your knowledge onto the Reformer, covering safe equipment use, exercise repertoire, programming, modifications, progressions and teaching application. Following successful completion of the training and final assessment, you’ll receive your Evrimotion Reformer Pilates Teacher Certification, preparing you to teach Mat and Reformer Pilates professionally. Evrimotion Academy is an independent Pilates education provider. Our programmes are designed to provide comprehensive professional teacher education, with a strong emphasis on anatomy, biomechanics, practical teaching skills and safe movement. Our graduates are successfully teaching Pilates in the UK and internationally. Led by Ebru Evrim — Polestar-trained Comprehensive Pilates practitioner, former pathology scientist and educator to 170+ graduates.
